Traffic signal design

Byways & Highways Ltd has recently completed a traffic signal design for the implementation of pedestrian phases on behalf of a private developer at a site in Jubilee Wharf, Penryn.

The detailed design was paid for through commuted sums by Carrick District Council and the contract let to CORMAC, Cornwall County Council's in-house contractors.

Graham Fincham, Director, said "It is always good for us to work closely with Councils to deliver engineering designs to tight timescales.  CORMAC, being the County Council's own contractor, fully appreciate taking on additional work through the development process and our involvement helps to build relationships through often competing processes".
